NEPSEDATA.com is an independent financial data visualization platform dedicated to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). Our mission is to move beyond simple price tracking and provide Nepalese investors with macro-valuation tools that were previously difficult to access or visualize.

We believe that long-term wealth creation requires understanding historical context. By visualizing two decades of data, we help investors separate market noise from genuine economic trends.

Our Features

1. The Buffett Indicator

This ratio measures the total value of all publicly traded stocks which is the market capitalization of NEPSE divided by the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP):

• Data Source: NEPSE Historical Archives & Nepal Rastra Bank.
• Interpretation: Historically, a ratio close to 100% has indicated an overheated market in Nepal, while lower ratios suggest accumulation zones. It has never crossed 100% in Nepal but we have seen it in other global markets. Will Nepal's share market cross this limit in the near future?

2. Historical Heatmap

The heatmap that we have generated helps identify seasonality effects, such as the fiscal year-end (Ashadh) volatility or the post-festival (Dashain/Tihar) market behavior. We have unadjusted historical data for individual stocks, and the NEPSE index. Remember, these are unadjusted, so bonus and rights may have diluted the market points.
